Client: JustVeggiez | Bucky™ PR, UW-Madison
As a member of Bucky™ PR, UW-Madison’s student-run PR firm, I was part of the team that developed a comprehensive promotional strategy for JustVeggiez, a Black and family-owned vegan restaurant in Madison. The client’s goal was to shift public perception of vegan food and increase student awareness. By conducting a social media audit and reviewing the existing website, we identified key opportunities to better engage the target audience. My role involved brainstorming promotional tactics, from thematic events to university catering partnerships, and developing practical content strategies. This project highlights my ability to work with a real client, translate their business goals into a strategic plan, and create a roadmap for effective social media, advertising, and web-based promotion.
